    To use land, described as Part Rural Section 2355, to clear 2900 m² of indigenous vegetation. To use land described as proposed lots 1-5 for residential purposes including the erection of a dwelling and ancillary buildings as submitted in amended application and plans received 3rd April 2009.

This consent has been publicly notified. Submissions closed on Tuesday 12th May 2009.

This information has been received by Council on the 6th of November 2009. It does not constitute a full response to the further information request as clarification of a number of matters has been sought from Hans Bay Developments Ltd.  A copy of the information and Council’s request for clarification is below.

The further clarification has been received by Council. All submitters have been sent notice.

A hearing date has now been set. This matter will be heard by Independent Commissioner Michael Garland and Councillor Bryce Thomson in the Westland District Council Chambers from 10am Monday 22nd February 2010. It is likely that the hearing may run into the following day. 

Anyone can attend this hearing, but only those that have made a submission and indicated a wish to be heard can address the Commissioners.
